It's so not fair. Kaya is my idol and one of my fave musicians. He is so close to me . . . he is in Virginia right now, and I'm in Kentucky. This is the closest he will ever be to me, and I can't see him. I don't have the money. My idol, the person who inspired me. I am androgynous and have been called a freak and have been treated as he said he had, and I long to meet someone like myself. Learning about him has given me hope and made me feel not so alone anymore, him being famous despite his difference, and the fact that he exists. I hope that someday I can be like him. It's just hard. I needed to see him, to know he exists. And I want to thank him for inspiring me. But here I am, crying with despair, wishing so much to see him. I read all the time about people going to concerts, seeing every Versailles concert, saying how fun it is. I can't even go to one. It just tortures me to know he's so close and I can't go because of money. I hope that someday I can meet him and thank him.
